The first line of Rohirrim kings begins with Eorl the Young, who led his people to the land
of Calenardhon. His line ended as Helm Hammerhand, the ninth king of Rohan, perished with
both of his sons.
The second line of kings begins with Frealaf Hildeson, Helm's nephew, and
continues till these days. The reigning king is Theoden son of Thengel, now the 17th king.
The following chart represents the genealogy of the Rohirrim kings, from Eorl to Theoden.
