House Raavindonserke
Restrictions: Open to all Galadhrim.
Visual Distinction: No official colors. But they do tend to have Golden accents in their clothing. The symbol of a Lion can often be seen in ornamentation upon them.
House Heads (Indyr):
Indor: Radhir, Counsel, Arnpand o Lothlorien
Brown hair, grey eyes, red robe. The less outspoken of the pair, though his counsel is highly valued. Tends to favor more interaction with other elven cultures, but is slightly wary of humans (such as Beorning).
Indiri: Lanthiriel, Master, Harpist, Glirdain o Lothlorien
Black hair, blue eyes, dress of red and grey. The more vocal of the two. She is older than Ladhir (the two are not married). Welcomes diplomatic relations with humans and favors Dunedain.
General Worldview: Raavindonserke members could be considered possibly the most open-minded of the houses. Used to diversity and adaptation, they welcome learning and the exchange of ideas between the differing houses and cultures. However, that is not to say their views are currently at odds with the isolationistic policy of the Galadhrim. They are fiercely loyal to the Lord and Lady, as well as their familial kinsmen, and respect the rule of the land.
Foreign Policy: The House is at the center of the political scene. They champion the most open approach toward elf and elf-friend outsiders. They often see it as their duty to provide for the comfort and welcome of those who visit the Golden Wood. Though their views rival those of the suspicious and stay-at-home views of Dinlom, they still hold a close friendship with all of the houses of Lorien.
Average Member: Raavindonserke has a strong number within the Royal Court as well as the Glirdain, for their speeches and story weavings are some of the finest in Lorien. Healers and members of the Order are common among them. A small number are in the crafters. They concern themselves not only with the news within their city, but also the greater world beyond. In the absence of a clear threat, they follow the more peaceful paths and are far more likely to welcome a stranger than confront one.
House Talan: Silver Roadway (west) in Caras Galadhon.
