House Dinlom

Restrictions: Open to all Galadhrim.

Visual Distinction: Silver and green colors, often with a crescent-shaped insignia.

House Heads (Indyr):
   Indor: Erdoron, Master, Armorsmith, Gwaith-i-Thein
Erdoron (Lone Oak) is tall and muscular with dark features and a brooding, cautious manner.
A master of many crafts, chief among them armor smithing. As a youth he was sent to study with the masters in the Thranduil's halls, but he is chiefly influenced by, and finds the most joy in, Lorien's own forges. A close friend of the founder of Dinlom, Eltravros, the two have similar views on nearly everything. Everything save marriage, for Erdoron was married to his craft only. It is only during the last yen that he has begun to turn more of energies into his House, even taking up the mantle of Indor, and endeavoring to uphold the spirit of his house with a strong focus on Lorien's self-reliance.
Indiri:Llachwen, Master, Bard, Glirdain o Lothlorien
Llachwen (Fire maiden) is slight and fair. Her mood is fiery, as her name suggests, outspoken and always on the verge of song and dance.
Cousin to Dinlom's matriarch, Lothelei. Her immediate family has dwelt in the Wood for as long as any can remember and Llachwen herself can name the place of every rabbit nest and bluebell drift in the forest. She is a creature of unending energy (ofttimes to Erdoron's chagrin) and passionate about everything. She will not assign a profession to herself but can be found among the bards, dancers, in the Court, and in the fields of Yavanna. Naturally, she leapt at the chance to guide Dinlom as Indiri and act as a tool to lead Lorien on the path that she feels is true to the spirit of the Dreamflower.

General Worldview: Dinlom is both the most traditional and 'rustic' of the Houses. They are the first to call for things to be "the way they once were".

Foreign Policy: Dinlom Galadhrim are quite happy staying at home alone. They tend to be rather cold towards and highly suspicious of any strangers to the woods, even elves. They rarely wish to travel outside the borders, and will do so only if needed or called upon.

Average Member: A typical Dinlom Galadhrim often seems filled with a sense of purpose to their 'Higher Ideal'. And as much as they're unconcerned with the world outside of Lorien, they are fiercely devoted to their home and will protect it at all costs. They can be found among any of the crafts, though their numbers in the Royal Court are few.

House Talan: Silver Roadway (northeast) in Caras Galadhon.
