TITLE:
Linnor a Galthor, Arphedil nos Forodren (Singer and Gardener, adherent of House Forodren) -- Keeper of Crazy Blackbirds
DESCRIPTION:
As a young sapling stands Sulriel, tall and slender and Moon-pale, crowned with long silver-shadowed hair, dark as a mist-shrouded night. The dark hair hangs down her back in long plaits that reach nearly to her knees. Bright are her eyes, clear and grey, like the twilit sky sprinkled with stars.
Upon a chain of silver links a clear gem shines brightly at her throat, though she wears few other adornments. Inky black are her garments, a flowing loose gown embroidered in midnight thread with a pattern of twined leaves, belted at the waist with an ebon sash. On her feet are soft black shoes, unadorned, and soled with more durable, though still supple, leather.
PERSONA:
Sulriel is known somewhat for her interest in plants, and moreso for her love of birds and beasts. Often she can be seen in the fields and woods, singing softly to them. More than anything, though, Sulriel is known for her quiet reserve, her gentle temperament, and for her singing and song-crafting. It is also widely known that Ringorn, one of the tirith recently killed by the trolls, asked Sulriel to be his betrothed and that she accepted. She is in mourning, and nearly inconsolable; her grief is great.
HISTORY:
Sulriel was born two years after the Last Alliance, two years into the Third Age, after her parents Anariel and Palrandir thought that the world was safe from the Shadow. She grew up and lived happily, even when the outside world grew darker, for the Valley seemed safe, at peace. She loved Middle Earth and stayed even after her parents went west after the fall of the North Kingdom. She misses them, but long lived at peace in the valley, taking delight in the birds and the beasts and the plants, but most of all in her music.
There was an edhel in the valley who caught her eye, Ringorn. He was one of the Tirith, and protected Imladris from the darkness that gathered outside. Their love grew over the years, and finally, quite recently, he asked her to marry him. Both his parents and hers had gone over the Sea, so Ringorn planned on speaking to Lord Elrond for his approval. However, the morning after he proposed, Ringorn left to help drive away some trolls that were nearing the valley, and was killed. Currently Sulriel is in mourning, and nearly inconsolable.
