TITLE:
Feredis, Tellenistril a Gwaerhiril - Arphedil Nos Narthanaer (Huntress, Tracker and Falconwarden - Retainer of House Narthanaer)
DESCRIPTION:
Before one's eyes is a tall, female elf, standing at about five feet and ten inches tall. Her eyes are a deep blue, deeper than the deepest point of the Western ocean, and her hair a light blonde. Her skin is a pale white- paler than fresh fallen snow. She wears a greenish-grey tunic, and the same colour leggings. Upon her waist is a satchel on a belt. The belt is almost like obsidian in color, and her satchel almost like gold, providing a stark contrast. She wears leather boots, of a matching color with her leggings and tunic.
PERSONA:
A modest, caring elf who is trying to learn as much as she can about the world around her. She is currently trying to learn about the history of Middle Earth, as well as the forests around her, and finds experiencing something the best way to learn. She also likes to think, and to talk with other people.
HISTORY:
Silaiel was born about 735 years ago, in Imladris. She was sired by a high-up member of the Guard, and mothered by a healer who was fluent with song and harp. Her father was Limadar of Nos Narthanaer, and mother Lastaiel of Nos Teleralda. She was raised in an extremely open Elven family, and if there was only one lesson she could have learned from both of her parents, it would have been these two: from her father, who was well travelled, that every free people and, indeed, every being within every type of free peoples had worth and something to contribute and, from her mother, who was interested in the arts as well as many other things, was that wide interests can be a huge asset to anyone. Silaiel, however, learned a lot more from them, such as the importance of knowledge, the need for propriety, and even love for Middle Earth just as it is.
Her father later on joined the Istfariath as a Randir, which intrigued young Silaiel, who was at this time about 400 years old. Her mother simply explained to her that her father had had enough of the fighting, and wanted to learn about the ones he was fighting, and maybe improve their relations.
Silaiel's father was absent for about 305 years, but when Silaiel turned 705, he returned. Accompanying him was a human- a ranger, to be exact. Silaiel spent a lot of time with Iethar, her father's accompaniment, when he was in Imladris. The two became good friends, as had Silaiel's father and Iethar. They were often found in the forests.
Almost 5 years later, very recently, Silaiel found herself invited on a hunting trip with them. During this trip, Silaiel learned that she wanted to be one with nature and the animals. She also learned of her desire to become a huntress- she observed that the animals killed each other not only out of a need for food, but also out of necessity for a home and other things. She learned that it was a delicate balance. Iethar's story, which was told at the campfire that night, simply reinstated her desires- it was about a great famine in the Breelands a few centuries ago.
