Nolindil
TITLE:
Mirdan (Jewelsmith) o Imladris
DESCRIPTION:
This is clearly one of the Noldo inhabitants of Imladris. Standing some six and a half feet tall, he has deep grey eyes and long black hair reaching nearly to his shoulders, held out of his face by a silver circlet. He is beardless, as elves are, with the pale and clear complexion of the Noldor. The expression on his finely drawn features is at once contemplative and remote, yet lively and alert. Depths of memory are clearly present, but he is fully aware of the moment. He is clad in the simple but fine style so favored by Elves, a simple blue shirt and pantaloons of some very soft yet durable fabric, and soft shoes of some unknown material. Interestingly, his pants have many pockets, and most of them seem to have contents.
PERSONA:
Nolindil is one of the few surviving Gwaith-I-Mirdain who remain in Middle Earth. He is every bit the engineer that you would expect, with a passion for building, creating, and learning about the nature of materials and devices. He constantly carries many of his tools around with him, and is given to emptying his pockets when searching for things, revealing all sorts of oddments and wonders (rather like Dr. Who, if we may cross themes for a moment). Somewhat more of the ambition and restlessness of the elves of old remains in Nolindil than is typical, though he does feel the weariness of Endor. This may be due to the fact that he is a bit younger than most other remaining Mirdain, or just a facet of his personal temperment. When not engaged in some sort of work, he is almost certainly learning in preparation for another project. If he knows anything of Ring lore, he will not discuss it with anyone publicly.
