Merenthuil
TITLE:

DESCRIPTION:
The elf standing before you is, by elven standards, of an average height and posture. Compared to men, he would be relatively tall and slender. He has a fair skin and his hair, black like a night without the light of Ithil, hangs down onto his shoulders, hiding a lot, but not all of his typical elven ears. His eyes however, are not of the typical grey. The twinkle in his eyes is something noted by many. It is as if they sparkle with a light of joy and vitality.
He is wearing white pants and his tunic is mostly of a very dark-blue-colored fabric. The sleeves and collar are finished by gold-colored bindings and some pieces in the color of a cloudless day, one in which Anor has free play. His shoes are of the general kind one sees more often being worn by the elves, these in the brown color of a chestnut.
PERSONA:
This elf has a passion for the library of Imladris and all the treasures it holds. Hour after hour he can spend at the library reading the books, taking a look at the maps or trying to improve his skills in one of the many tongues. As a Istionn the riches of the library bring him joy, yet on the other hand it brings him pleasure too to make sure that the library stays in a good condition and that the visitors of the library can receive the texts they are looking for. It is the reason why he started to work at the library as Parvasson.
As joyous as the spring was for the parents of Merenthuil when he was born, so full of joy he is these days. Unlike some of the older elves, the mind of this younger elf is less set on the burden of immortality. His enthousiasm often brings a smile on faces, although sometimes it would be better if he would be a bit more reserved.

Battle of fornost(1975 TA). Father (scout(Ethir) + tracker(Tellenistron)) is in forces of Glorfindel. Joins in on the chase on the Witch_King. Gets spotted on duty, injured. Returns to Imladris, but needs to be healed further for his injuries. Meets the future mother, she's herbmaster(Olvaristdil) + gardener(Galthor).
BHIST
It was for the battle of Fornost (TA 1975), that Merenthuil's father, as member of the Tirith joined forces under Glorfindel. The combined forces of elves and men defeated the armies of Angmar. The armies that only one year earlier managed to destroy the kingdom of Arthedain. In the following chase after the Witch_King,IFNH as Ethir got involved in a fight with some of the enemy's forces. Injured, but fortunately still alive,he managed to rejoin his troops and be taken back with them to Rivendell. Here he was treated for his injuries by the HEALERS and the herbs that were prepared by Olvaristdil IMNH. This was their first encounter, but certainly not the last. Years later, after it became clear to both of them that they belonged to eachother, they married followed by the birth of their son Merenthuil.
