DESCRIPTION:
Eyes she has like the sea after a storm, but before the calm settles down upon the horizon. They are grey or blue or green, or a mixture of the three swirling down to tranquility. Natural blush touches her cheeks, combining with lips strawberry red, which together emphasize the pallor of her skin. Her champagne-gold hair flows freely down her back, her head crowned with a circlet of silver leaves, shimmering as if kissed with the very dew of Telperion. Resting on her forehead in the center of the wreath, a single white gem sparkles in a flower-like setting. Upon her right hand she wears a beautifully wrought band of gold.
Around her bare shoulders, a slender garland of the finest silver chain lies draped; wrought of a most subtle craftsmanship to which its delicateness is a testament. The tiny links shimmer together as one narrow thread of bright silver. Along its length, seven tiny white gems sparkle; evenly spaced, and illumined as if from within. A teardrop wrought as of liquid light marks each end.
Her gown, a gossamer creation crafted in the colors of sunset, consists of two pieces: The bodice, supported by stiff structure beneath the deep midnight gauze, emphasizes the slender curve of her waist. Beneath the bodice, yards and yards of filmy fabric flow, colors blending from waist to floor-skimming hem: midnight blue, then deep purple, fading to pinks and oranges to rival the sky at its most glorious, until settling at the base into the clear blue of a perfect afternoon.
PERSONA:
Many yeni have passed since she could be rightly called a 'hin', and yet Glasiel still lives up to her father-name, which means "Child of Joy". Ever humming and singing as she gathers and cares for the herbs that help her with healing, she steps lightly as if dancing. Much time has she spent in the study of healing and herblore, following in the footsteps of her Naneth, though her true love is singing. This is, in truth, the basis of her healing arts.
Long separated from her parents, though her father still resides in Arda, under the Mellyrn of Lorien, she finds comfort in her duties as Herunnur nos Ruiganno, tending to the needs of the house left in her care. And though there is, behind the songs and laughter some hint of past sorrow, she is not now lonely, by any means! Friends she finds in abundance; not only among the residents of the Valley, but seemingly with also the animals and plants, to judge from her ease in their company. Her tender heart also draws all the elfets of Imladris to her; they seek her out so she may tend their scraped knees, bruised egos, and other normal pitfalls of childhood. In her pocket, they know a stash of delicious herbal candies can always be found.
A word of caution, however: do not let her ease and lightness of heart cause you to think she is weak. Nay! For at the core of her gentle shell resides a will of iron, which most often is discovered by certain patients who are reluctant to have their wounds treated.
