DESCRIPTION:
This elf is tall with straight fair hair and grey eyes. His features are common for an elf, with a slender face and proud nose. His shoulders are straight and tall, as one of noble bearing. This elf wears a blue tunic that reaches to just below the waist. It is belted by a silver sash. Covering his legs are black woolen breeches with black boots.
PERSONA:
Gilaearon is a sociable Elf, but he is known to keep his own counsel on many matters. His parents taught him that silence is an important virtue and he keeps their dictum in his heart. He is a historian, spending much time in the Library and the Hall of Fire, questioning the eldest of the Eldar who yet remain in Rivendell on their recollections of the past. In addition, he also serves in the Tirith. It is not his primary interest, but he has a strong sense of duty to protecting his home and serving when the need arises.
HISTORY:
Gilaearon was born in TA 2141. His father, Corulaes, was a historian. He taught his son a love of books and ancient lore, and often they would spend long hours in the library, talking of such matters. The young Elf's parents departed for the west when he was was in his 510th year. That parting much grieved him, but Gilaearon's spirit recovered swiftly, and he continued in his studies and research. He lives yet in Rivendell, reading and copying ancient lore.
Gilaearon's family has long served House Narthanaer, from before the fall of Doriath, up to the present day. Represented by Gilaearon in the latest generation, his parents having gone west, he serves Lord Talroch.
