DESCRIPTION:
Even for an elleth she is tall, straight-backed as an attentive soldier, strong chin given to tilting upward, for her eyes (a color not unlike the feathers of a dove) are often cast skyward. Bound up in fine white ribbons are her thick, gleaming locks, black as night, pulled away from her high white brow and kept off shoulders slim but strong, clearing the long neck which she keeps unadorned, the fair skin unmarred; she is no warrior-maid. Feinnefiel is slim but vital as the rest of her people, graceful and sure in movement. Her voice is very deep and clear, untroubled in her speech.
This lady wears an off-the-shoulder gown, deepest blue lit with silver thread, knotted and gathered at interval in a pattern which slowly reveals itself as celestial: the constellations can be seen in the wide train of her skirt, a dust of stars cling to her cuffs. Panes of silk drape long from her upper arms, contrasting with the angles of white flesh. About her waist is a girdle of tiny silver stones, glinting in what light that shines.
PERSONA:
It is not that Feinnefiel is known for being alone, but rather that she is elusive, and often busy, and taken with lucubration when Arien has disappeared from the world. She is known in Rivendell for her study of the stars and for her consuming love of Elbereth's work, and quickest is she in most groups to lift her voice in praise at first starlight, though she's also prone to silent thought when enraptured by the beauty of the bright heavens. After all, do the stars not shine brightest in Imladris? Gentle and keen with a smile, Feinnefiel is also proud of her study, and, perhaps because of that, quick to perceive fault- yet it only gives her greater reason to study the lights of Varda, for therein lie all paths to Elvenhome, and thereat lies all salve to Arda Marred.
