Elnuin
TITLE:
Tellenistril a Nethordur, Arphedil Nos Ruiganno (Tracker and Apprentice Healer, Retainer of House Ruiganno)
DESCRIPTION:
The elf standing in front of you, is an average tall and slender elleth. Blonde wavy hair tumbles down to the middle of her back. Eyes of a blue-grey colour, like mist over the lake, in the early morning. Fair pale skin, with warm glowing cheeks, and soft and gentle lips, reveals this elf's youth.
She wears a dark grey woolen cloak, which is tied together with a silver buckle under her chin. Underneath the cloak, she wears a closely fitting tunic. Its colours dependant on the light; light blue, with a touch of silver in daylight, and midnight blue in the dark. Her tight breeches is tucked into a pair of dark leather boots. On her thin waist lays a pigtailed silver belt, with the pattern of leaves.
PERSONA:
Elnuin is a loving and caring elf. She enjoys helping those who needs to be helped, whether they are injured, or they just need a lesson or guidance. A smile is familiar sight on this elleths face. She likes to spend her time outside, but can of course be found inside, too. As Elnuin belongs to Nos Ruiganno, she is often seen humming a tune, while walking around in the valley. She is especially fond of the forrest, and has a huge love for the animals that live there. Over the time Elnuin has gained many friends, elves as well as animals.
HISTORY:
On a dark night, in the year 1781 of the Third Age, a little elleth came to life in the forest of Imladris. Thousands of stars brighten the naked spot, surrendered by big oak trees, where Elnuin was born. Her parents were the Linnor Gilbereth of Lorien, and the Artellenistron Gwathlavan of the house Nos Ruiganno in Rivendell. Elnuin was raised up in Imladris, where herself became a member of Nos Ruiganno, like her father. When Elnuin was 724 years old, Gilbereths longing for Lorien became so strong, that both of Elnuins parents went back to Lorien for a while.
As an young elleth, Elnuin spent much time in the woods with her father. There she studied all living creatures, and became talented and skillful in understanding their needs. Any but the Quendi would find the trust the animals give her almost magical. She also appreciate songs and poems. Her singing skills, that she inherited from her mother, became useful later in her life and work. Elnuin was given a puppy by her parents, when they left for Lorien. His name was Malthengur. He followed Elnuins every step, and grew up to be a good travel campanion and Elnuins best friend. At the age of 20, Malthengur was badly injured by a stone that had loosen and came rolling down the hill, as Elnuin and Malthengur had been out for an walk in the deep forest. Without no one to help her, Malthengur died within a short time. The loss of her good friend, was the final push that made Elnuin decide that she wanted to become a Tellenistril and a Nethril, so she could find and help wounded animals. That is how it started, but later on she found that healing all creatures in need, be it Elf, Man, or even animal, forfills a need in her. Now, she works for the betterment of all things that grow.
