TITLE:

DESCRIPTION:
Though her eyes reflect maturity, the elleth's bearing has the lightness that hints at the comparative to her kind, scant years she's lived. Her hair is braided back from her face into a circlet about her crown, and then falls down in auburn waves, nearly reaching the backs of her knees. Green eyes the soft color of delicate new leaves shine with intelligence and mirth. The elleth's lips bloom the hue of pink roses, the color deepened against her pale skin. Like a work of delicate lines on marble, her features show art in high cheekbones, the prominent jaw line and the elegant curve of her brows.
Her gown burns with the forest's fall plumage. Red so rich, her bodice and gown seems to flow from her like poured wine. The intensity of this color is softened by earthen hued embroidery decorating nearly the entirety of the skirt. Proud trees stretch out their gold, orange and tawny leaves over forest animals. Deer pause with their heads lifted, alert to any danger. Birds dip and dart about over the heads of squirrels, who dash about to collect winter stores. The outfit is completed by gold slippers whose toes glitter as they peek from beneath the hem of her skirt. .
Entwined around her right index finger is a gold ring.
PERSONA:
The second child of a respected family, 'Dai' as many call her is known for her quiet demeanor. She is not shy, simply only speaks when required or when it suits her. The elleth's love of nature is known, though so is her penchant for causing a bit of mischief. The young elleth is an Tellenistril (tracker) and is married to Duinlas.
HISTORY:
Dairwenraiel is the second child of Delararion a Saelon o Menelmen and Sithralia a Nathril a Hirlin o Imladris. The couple is well known and respect among those of Imladris. Her father has been a member of House Menelmen before the time of Silvarion. One of the most trusted advisor of that house, he has been an exemplary example for his house. Her mother once one of the maids of Elrond's court and it was there Delararion met her. Soon after they were married and she joined the house with her husband. Dairwenraiel was born long after her elder sister, Aladwen a Linnor a Talagand o Imladris, had married into another house and her parents considered her an unexpected gift. Though always a source of joy for her parents, unlike Aladwen, Dairwenraiel seemed an obstinate child in that she did not always follow the path presented to her. Often she could be found running about the city, and more often then not, she would cause a bit of mischief. Despite her mothers deepest wish that her youngest daughter follow in her footsteps, Dai showed early she had no love of her mother's lyrical talents. She does not process the heart wrenching beauty her mother and sister are known for, though her beauty is by no means wanting. Though perhaps it is a reflection of the lack of effort she puts into her appearance. She also lacks the voice of beauty the other two elleth in the family are well known for having. Yet, she is also known for being soft spoken, when she does speak, which is a rarity. As a child, she always seemed to have a greater affinity to grass and sky then song and dance. While her mother and sister crafted outfits of glittering beauty for courtly pursuits, Dai would be found over turning rocks, pouncing through streams, or climbing trees.
The greatest influence in Dairwenraiel's life was her Uncle Unond. A jester both in occupation and practice, the edhel took quiet glee in the mild mortification of his younger brother when he encouraged his niece to antics. An elf of few words, Unond would often do acrobatics just to gain a grin from his niece. He schooled her in such silliness of bearing. Flips, handstands, cartwheels and other such antics. And when he did speak it was to quip out a jest, or to give a small bit of wisdom. And such bit of advice Dai took to heart was when he stood on his hands and said 'Dairwenraiel, my dove, people will give greater weight to what you say if you speak more rarely then most'.
A child is a precious gift for the edhel, a second even more so. From the beginning Dairwenraiel was wrapped in a deep blanket of protection, as her father used his respected name and position to see that the child was protected. She was not allowed outside the protective boarder of the city. While Dai approaches the age of adulthood quickly, in many ways, due to this protection, she is naive. The ignorance is balanced against the maturity beyond years many of the race possess.
While her parents quietly lament she is not the shining example of noble bearing that they had hoped for, Dairwenraiel is intelligent, clever and agile. While she appears to lack the grace that is a characteristic of both her race and her family, she hints at a lie with her ability to perform acts of impressive agility. As of recently, Tireman has agreed to school Dairwenraiel in the ways of a tracker and woods woman. She has failed to fill the role her parents presented her but, as with all youth, her potential is great.
