This is the Imladris OOC room. It is large and open, with large, comfortable
chairs and couches all around, arranged in circles. Murals of favorite scenes
from LOTR are painted on much of the bare wall space, and lots of OOC graffiti
is scribbled on the remaining space.

Nusiriel sighs. "Always ruining my fun, Rhune. Jeez."
Elrond says, "ah, but the goal is to make fun for all. So ... the big question
here is setting up who plays what, before we get rolling ..."

Sidhel says, "The North Moors are done and ready for RP. Not that there's a lot
to see ICly, but we've got desc everywhere."
Nusiriel says, "Since you insist... the committee and I have been gathering
interest for the FB and have about twelve players interested in temping. We've
chatted some about who might be best suited for which roles, trying to bear in
mind what they expressed particular interest in. Rhune (and earlier Silaire
actually mentioned something similar) suggested having an audition this weekend
which I'm planning on setting up with the others so we can get a good idea of
what we have at our disposal by way of temps..."

Elrond says, "Expanding on that, the goal is to basically treat the period of
the FB as all flashback ... lots of time to be Fili and Kili getting in trouble
with Mallenfaigliel."

Elrond says, "so we n eed people in as many roles as possible. It might be you!"
Ermithren says, "Who wasn't born back then :)"

Nusiriel nods and continues... "The plan at this point is to spend the week of
the 10th (from Tuesday through Saturday) with Imladris in FB mode. That means
that 'normal' RP will be suspended for the time being, at least around those
players who have agreed to be a part of the event. Every day has an event
scheduled in the hopes of attracting larger numbers, but the hours in between
are totally up for smaller scenes that Tolkien leaves undescribed and, happily
for us, up to the discretion of our wacky crew. That could be trips out to the
pasture, getting the Company cleaned up (yikes!), cooking for their journey...
and yes, Aislin/Fili-Kili mischief :)"

Elrond says, "Here's the scary one. I think I'm gonna play Lindir, if no one
minds."

Elrond says, "that means anyone who can invent a reason they'd be on a Tirith
patrol can join him. We'll be reasonably relaxed about how they get there."

Ermithren says, "Could we devise a means by which an owl report ends up on a
corkboard or some such, for other people to read - and for reference?"
Ermithren says, "I have missed out on a lot of gossip - we need to use Arglin."

Mirodhel says, "One thing I would suggest is a bit more posting to Imladris BB
with 'OOC' progress reports on TPs. Gossip is nice, but it only goes so far in
some circumstances."

Elrond nods. We HAVE to keep each other up to date on what's going on. Can't
build on someone else's RP if you don't know about it.

designating a culture BB for that purpose. Arglin is always where Im not, and Im
lazy, and forgetful. Its easier to do a check and see if anything new has been
posted."

three or so RP tuesdays busted flatter than a floor tile. Is the RP tuesday idea
the way to go forward, or do we need to find another way to encourage/schedule
regular baseline RP? discussion, please."
Ermithren says, "well, the novelty seems to have worn off. I have cancelled
about 3 of those things. AND +training sessions."
Nusiriel notes that she's never even heard of RP Tuesdays.. wonders where she's

Sidhel would still love to host a feast for the eagles. We could include that
into the whole festival thing

Elrond says, "Just pick a date and put it ont he calendar, for the eagle thing."

This is the Imladris OOC room. It is large and open, with large, comfortable
chairs and couches all around, arranged in circles. Murals of favorite scenes
from LOTR are painted on much of the bare wall space, and lots of OOC graffiti
is scribbled on the remaining space.
