IMNEWS NOTES
Please don't forget your daily dose of Imladris reality.
1. Make sure to read the Imladris BB! (Type '+skim imladris', and then '+read imladris <messagenumber>')
2. Don't forget we live and die by imnews. Read it all. You're responsible for it all.
3. We have an IC "corkboard", Arglin, and he hangs out in the Entrance Hall, West. The commands are easy. Learn them, love them, live them. Don't just read the gossip. Feed it to him.
4. Log your roleplay and submit it to the Elendor log site, http://manager.elendor.net/ Don't forget, logs are used to support nominations for feature, and someday lightning may strike you.
5. The official Imladris web site is http://imladris.elendor.net. There's a lot of useful info up there, including a huge selection of songs and poems you can use in roleplay.
Don't forget to keep us up to date on interesting events; they might show up in +imnews events. Also, Elrond is the editor of the poetry and story section of the website, so send submissions his way.
Remember that TPs ... tiny plots ... planned events, big or little ... are not just for LAs. Anyone can organize them. If you get an idea, talk to your guild's RPC or an LA. And of course to the TP coordinator, Sidhel. We want to keep things humming around here.
On that note, when you DO plan an event, notify Sidhel or any LA of the day and time. We'll make sure your event gets posted in the Message of the Day (+MOTD).
A policy note: Remember that non-elves (except Dunedain) *must* leave their weapons in one of the storage racks before they can enter the valley. Good IC reasons are needed for non-elves to come to the valley. Don't be afraid to call a LA if someone comes who doesn't belong.
