IMNEWS GUILDS HEALERS

With the founding of Imladris by Elrond, most of the surviving healers in Eregion accompanied him to the valley. This group of Noldor, Sindar and Silvan healers brought all the learning available from other areas and the lore that survived the fall of Beleriand. Thus, the Imladris Healers' Guild is one of the bastions of healing knowledge in the Third Age. The healers are trained in several aspects of the lore and take pride in their research to find new ways to help patients. Often, the duties of a healer may take place outside the valley, searching for supplies, or accompanying groups on missions that take them to other parts of Middle-Earth. In battle or at home, the Imladhrim healers work to preserve and increment a tradition reaching back to days uncounted.
