The Foresters of Imladris serve tirelessly to provide their services to the elves of Imladris. Not only do they tend the trees in all the forests in and around the valley, in a continual cycle of planting, harvesting, and replanting, but they also serve in other ways. The hunters who supply the kitchens with fresh game, and those who keep careful watch on the forest paths against interlopers. The Foresters see to the health of the forest as a whole, and make certain that the craftsmen in the valley are supplied with their wood, aid the healers in finding their herbs, guide the Tirith when they must enter the woods... The number of tasks which may be given to a forester is infinite.
