Andrick Thatcher-Optimistic Vintner

Description:
This man is tall and gangly, a little over six feet, with thin, bony limbs. He has well tanned skin, with a rough complexion. His head is completely bald, and his ears stick out sharply, highlit by the lack of hair to cover or surround them. His eyes are dark brown, and sit below big, bushy black eyebrows, that hide the eyes themselves to an extent. His cheekbones are sharply pronounced, with a ruddy hint to them, framing his thin and bony nose. His upper lip has a small scar on its right-hand side, and he is missing a tooth right under the scar. His chin is square, and has a very short beard on it, that peters out as it goes up his cheeks and down his neck.

The man is wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, open necked at the front, with a filthy collar. Over the top, he wears a long, brown waistcoat, unbuttoned, and resting on his body as it would on a coat-hanger. On his legs he wears long, dark brown trousers, with patches over both knees, and several small holes in them. He wears scuffed and worn brown shoes.

History:
Andrick Thatcher was the fourth son (one of twins) of Carrick Thatcher and Rose Greenfield. Carrick always made his living thatching roofs, a skill that had been passed down from generation to generation since the Thatchers first came to Bree, and first called themselves 'Thatcher'. Carrick naturally passed the skill down to his sons, and the eldest two completed their apprenticeships, and joined him as partners in their job. However, the younger twins, who had become sick soon after they were born, and grew up lacking strength, and were unable to take up the job. Carrick showed them little interest, and as they came of age, they were more or less left to their own devices. Andrick got a job as a waiter in the Prancing Pony.

He soon found, however, that a job as a waiter was not sufficient for him to enjoy life as his elder brothers did. His twin brother successfully became an apprentice serving under the Cobbler, and so all of Andrick's brothers had a better life than him. In the end, he resorted to seeing how he could manipulate the customers of the inn, and became quite good at it. He managed to near double his income from the Pony, but still wasn't satisfied. Ultimately, he befriended some of the less well-reputed characters in Bree, and found himself aiding them in their nefarious schemes.

However, he was forcibly ejected from his job, and is yet to take up another. He is not too long back from a trip to the Shire, along with Megan Tassleberry. While they are yet to confirm it openly, it is reasonably safe common knowledge that while there, the pair secretly married, and are now ever hatching plots between them.
